We have seen a real transformation of the Deedmore area with the first phase of development and the external improvement works to surrounding properties carried out by Whitefriars. I know that this level of activity has caused a great deal of disruption for residents, particularly with the mud on the roads, and I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding.
In the region of 100 families have now moved and settled into their new home and I wish you them all good times and happy memories for the future.
This has also been the first year of life without the 'NDC' programme and the Moat House Community Trust is continuing to successfully build on the foundations that were established. This was evidenced by a fantastic turnout to the recent 'One Voice Conference' and 'Christmas event'. Well done to the Trust, Community Groups and Partners in making it a great funday for all.
I am in danger of boring you by listing out all the things that have happened over the past 12 months so will stop there, but it goes without saying there are many things that have taken place and are ongoing in the area that i have not mentioned.
